Oregon has been by far one of my favorite states to visit, especially for the outdoors and photography. Whether it is to see some of the amazing waterfalls, stare out into the sweeping coastline of the Pacific, hiking and taking in the wilderness, or enjoying some single-origin coffee and local food, there is so much to see and do in this adventure-filled state.

As one of the most southern states of the Pacific Northwest region of the West Coast, Oregon is the perfect state to road trip from California. Coming south from the Bay Area, the southern Oregon border is about 7 hours.

From Portland, driving a few minutes north brings us to the state of Washington, another destination with so much to offer.
